Laddu



Ingredients:
Bengal gram flour : 1 Cup
Oil : to fry
Ghee : 1 Tsp
Raisins : 1 Tsp
Lavang : 4 to 5
Sugar : 1 and 1/2 Cup
Cashew : 10 Pieces
Cardamom powder : 1/2 Tsp
Food colour : Yellow - a pinch
Water : 1/2 cup
Baking powder : a pinch

Method:
  1. Mix flour,colour,and baking powder together.
  2. Heat oil in pan.
  3. Add water to the flour and mix thoroughly.The consistency of the batter should be like dosa batter.
  4. Using a laddu ladle (jalli karandi)make small boondhies.Fry before it turn gispy and remove.
  5. When the batters is over ,in the same oil fry cashew,lavang,raisins and add it to the boondhies.
  6. Add half glass of water to the sugar and boil it till you get half string consistency.
  7. Bring down the fire and add the fried boondhies,cardamom powder and ghee.
  8. Mix well and leave for some time.
  9. Shape in to small round ball.
  10. Enjoy the taste.
