Ingredients:
Bengal gram flour : 1 Cup
Oil : to fry
Ghee : 1 Tsp
Raisins : 1 Tsp
Lavang : 4 to 5
Sugar : 1 and 1/2 Cup
Cashew : 10 Pieces
Cardamom powder : 1/2 Tsp
Food colour : Yellow - a pinch
Water : 1/2 cup
Baking powder : a pinch
Method:
- Mix flour,colour,and baking powder together.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Add water to the flour and mix thoroughly.The consistency of the batter should be like dosa batter.
- Using a laddu ladle (jalli karandi)make small boondhies.Fry before it turn gispy and remove.
- When the batters is over ,in the same oil fry cashew,lavang,raisins and add it to the boondhies.
- Add half glass of water to the sugar and boil it till you get half string consistency.
- Bring down the fire and add the fried boondhies,cardamom powder and ghee.
- Mix well and leave for some time.
- Shape in to small round ball.
- Enjoy the taste.
